I love my job and my job loves me
A. Parent / child – I created my business, now I care for it, nurture it, protect it and grow it… and at some time in the future it will have some independence and then it can serve me
B. Master / slave – I created my business thinking I would free up more time, have flexibility in my hours, more life balance but … it seems to be taking up every minute of my day
Whatever the relationship … as business owners we need to regularly and consciously focus on our goal - whether that’s to be able to work less hours each week, take four weeks out for a holiday, or make the business run without you.
The next critical stage is to define your strategy with clear steps to help you make your goals a reality.
Don’t think you have to do it all yourself. Having the right coach or mentor in your corner will give you the edge you need.
