Today’s takeaways are from the creator of the Tribe Experience, Stu McLaren (at the recent Business Growth Summit | HerBusiness).  Stu’s niche is building Membership Sites and he had some great insights into how we might build a low-stress, high-profit business. 

  • What is a membership site or subscription model?  Think your Gym membership, it’s a monthly subscription to satisfy an ongoing need; as are those fresh vegies you get delivered each week...

  • Another perhaps less obvious example; a car wash, with the membership model… The benefits to the business - they know how many customers they will have in the next month, where-as the car wash down the road doesn’t

  • Is your business right for this model?  Three things to ask yourself are;

    • Does my market have an ongoing need?

    • Are people actively seeking out information about the ‘stuff’ I can help them with?

    • Is there a community being formed around a topic or subject matter than I can help with?
